Extremely delicious, hot, crispy, crunchy and filled with spicy potato…. when these words comes to our mind we think of mouth watering Bread Rolls! Yah guys, today we are talking about Bread Roll Recipe (ब्रेड रोल रेसिपी) which is a very popular breakfast recipe of Indian Cuisine.

Bread rolls are often served in the breakfast however these rolls can also be enjoyed with evening tea as snacks along with our spicy Indian coriander chutney or simply tomato sauce.

Bread roll recipe is made with bread slices (white bread and brown bread both can be used) which have filled with spicy potato filling and then deep fried in oil till golden brown. Wheat bread or multi grain bread can also be used for this bread roll recipe. These bread rolls can be prepared in advance for deep frying later. It is one of the very easy snacks recipes.

You can use some other seasonal vegetables with potatos to make the stuffing mixture more delicious and nutritious. Grated paneer can also be a good option to use in this mixture.

Bread Roll Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
  1. First of all, mash boiled potatoes to prepare stuffing for bread rolls.
  2. Add all the ingredients except bread slices and oil. This mixture will use as stuffing for bread rolls.
  3. Now, take a bowl of water, dip one bread slice in it for a while and drain it by pressing it between the palms.
  4. Then put 2 tsp stuffing mixture over it and seal it.
  5. Prepare all the rolls similarly.
  6. Finally, heat oil in a wok and deep fry all the bread rolls on medium flame until brown.
  7. Let the bread rolls rest on tissue paper for a minute so the tissue paper will soak extra oil of the rolls.
  8. Crunchy and delicious bread rolls are ready. Serve the rolls hot with coriander chutney and tomato sauce.
Recipe Notes
  • Don’t dip the bread in water for long time otherwise bread will become very soft and tough to handle.
